Hey there, I’m Wendy!
I have made it my mission to help people take care of themselves. It isn’t easy to make yourself a priority, but it is so worth it. I am learning new tools everyday, and getting better at it myself.
We can be there for others and make a life of serving others, but we have to be there for ourself in creative ways too!
I have a passion for self-care, and that includes self-compassion and mindfulness. I love to help people understand and appreciate how their bodies and minds work and help them work better - for them.
It’s a journey we are all walking together. We won’t be perfect at it. We will have our ups and downs, but having the support of others makes the journey so much better.
My Story
I was a very young mom. I was married young and had 2 boys by the time I was 21. I went to nursing school when they were little and was always doing my best to keep up with life. I felt like there was always so much to do and I could never keep up. Let alone take time for MYSELF, that would be selfish.
One of our lessons in my coach training was about self-care. They used the analogy that the heart is the most important organ of the body. It feeds all the other organs. It “takes care of everyone”, but it feeds itself first. This really resonated with me. I had to take time to feed myself, body and soul, so I could take care of everyone else.
When I began coaching hundreds of women, I realized I was not alone. So many of us juggle work, caring for children, caring for parents, household chores and many other responsibilities. So many women struggle with making time to take care of themselves, but KNOW they so desperately need to.
