Serratus on Wall

The Serratus is one of the sets of muscles that we are trying to strengthen.

It lies under the shoulder blades (scapulae) on each side and wraps around the sides of our ribs.

It is a key stabilizer of the scapulae helping them lay flat on the back.

The outward pressure in this exercise helps activate them.

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Think push into the wall and out at the same time.

    • This might look easier than it is.

Tip Challenge: Tie a band around your wrists at the end to further increase the resistance on that outward push.
