Wall Angels

This exercise helps us find our lower and middle trapezius muscles and activate them. It might also feel like a stretch in the front of the body around the pectorals area. The upper traps, which are often tight, will also try to take over at times. So as always, we want to create the movement from the proper muscle groups.

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Remember as you re-align the shoulders and head back in space, you will be able to make more of a connection to the wall.

    • These things take time though. We are remodeling your fascia and your skeletal muscles. Give them time. Be patient with yourself. You didn't get here overnight.

    • The more awareness you have of your posture throughout your day, the more hours your body will be remodeling back into alignment.
