Day 12-Swan Dive
Thoracic extension is hard for most people. It's the antidote for our "hunched over technology" lifestyle. Just the most basic variation is difficult for most people, so Katie and I step about 5 paces back and work on that extension with the aid of the arms.
Then I help her get up a little higher in her extension with the assistance of a band. I wanted her to feel the elevation that is desired in this exercise.
Then finally things go off the rails when I help her find the rocking motion needed to perform this exercise.
This has to be my favorite video ever! I'm so blessed to get to have so much fun with my daughter-in-law! We laughed so hard!
But hey, Pilates should be fun!
